Sarah Wong is a Senior Compliance Specialist with NarrowGate and has over 15 years experience in consulting organizations, private sector transportation and logistics, government departments and NGO¡¯s. At NarrowGate, she applies valuable experience gained through seven years of law education and an additional three years in government legal departments, and is an expert on the provisions and application of China¡¯s Labor Contract Law.
Sarah works in partnership with factories to determine shortfalls in social compliance and appropriate remedial measures to meet legal requirements and international brands¡¯ Codes of Conduct. She is particularly skilled at labor cost analysis and at providing practical improvements to production management systems. She has cooperated with many famous global brands during the course of her factory consulting.
Prior to joining NarrowGate in 2004, Sarah worked as Production Manager for Qinghai Asia Development Group Ltd, Qinghai¡¯s first Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise. At World Vision, one of the world¡¯s largest NGOs, Sarah was a development and training specialist for economic development projects in the Yunnan and Xinjiang region. She also managed the human resources and administrative functions for the Korean shipping line, Cho Yang. Sarah studied law at Guangzhou University and received her law degree in 1993.
